A licensed shooting preserve at Rector running European tower shoots, walk-up birds behind trained dogs, and combination whitetail hunts. A half-day tower shoot is $375 a gun — ten shooters to 100 pheasants, twenty to 200 — including two boxes of shells and a meal. Quail, pheasant or chukar over dogs is $275. Birds are released, so no state licence is needed.
