Buffalo River Outfitters

Buffalo River Outfitters has guided hunters across 4,200 leased acres of Ozark hardwood and creek bottom since 2004. The country is steep oak-and-hickory broken by green fields and river benches — the kind of ground that holds mature bucks through the rut and gobblers all spring.

We run a five-guide operation out of a working camp above the river: a lodge that sleeps ten, home-cooked meals, and trucks and ATVs to get you deep before light. Every hunter is paired with a guide who knows the property bench by bench and puts you where the deer move.

Hunts run unhurried and legal. Mornings on stand, a hot lunch at camp, evenings glassing the food plots — and a skinning shed and cooler waiting when you fill a tag. Twenty years in, most of our season is repeat hunters and their kids.
